1. Who this policy covers

This Privacy Policy explains how KrishiOx ("KrishiOx", "we", "us") handles information in connection with the KrishiOx web app, used to request farming-equipment bookings (tractor, rotavator, harvesting, and similar services) in and around . By using this app you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not submit the booking form.

2. Information you provide

When you fill in the booking wizard, you provide: your name, your village/area, the service and quantity/area requested, and your preferred date — these are required so the partner fulfilling your booking knows who to ask for and where to go. Your mobile number and any remarks are optional; your WhatsApp message already carries your number when you send it, so the phone field is only for an alternate callback number if you'd like to give one.

3. How that information is used

KrishiOx has no backend server and no database. The information you enter is used entirely on your own device to build a pre-filled WhatsApp message. When you tap "WhatsApp पर बुक करें", your own WhatsApp app (or WhatsApp Web) opens with that message ready to send, from your own WhatsApp number, to KrishiOx's WhatsApp number. KrishiOx only receives your booking details at the moment you choose to send that WhatsApp message — the same way it would if you typed and sent the message yourself.

4. What's stored on your device only

To make the booking wizard resilient to poor network connectivity, this app saves a few things in your browser's local storage — never transmitted anywhere:

• In-progress booking draft — so a dropped connection or closed tab doesn't erase a form you were filling in.
• Recent booking history (service, village, date, timestamp only) — kept on your device so a future "my bookings" view can show it to you.
• Preferences — such as your chosen text size.
• Your consent record for this policy and the Terms & Conditions (which version you accepted, and when).

None of this is readable by KrishiOx or sent to any server we operate. It stays on your device until you clear your browser data, or use the "Clear my data" button above.

5. What we do not collect

KrishiOx does not require account creation or login, does not collect payment or card details (all payment for a service is arranged directly between you and the equipment owner/partner, off-platform), does not request precise GPS location, and does not use advertising trackers, analytics scripts, or cookies of any kind.

6. Where your information goes after you send it

Once you send the WhatsApp message, it is delivered via WhatsApp (operated by Meta Platforms, Inc.) to KrishiOx's WhatsApp number, and is visible to the KrishiOx team and, where relevant, the equipment owner/partner who will fulfil the booking. That message is subject to WhatsApp's own Privacy Policy and Terms of Service, which we do not control — please review them at whatsapp.com/legal/privacy-policy. This site is also hosted on GitHub Pages, which processes standard web server logs (such as IP address and request time) under GitHub's own privacy practices, independent of KrishiOx.

7. Data retention

Information saved on your device (Section 4) remains until you clear it yourself. Your WhatsApp conversation history is retained per your own phone/WhatsApp settings, not by KrishiOx. KrishiOx does not separately archive your booking details on any server, because none exists.

8. Children's privacy

This app is intended for adult farmers and equipment owners arranging agricultural services, and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

9. Your rights

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you have the right to access, correct, and request erasure of your personal data. Because KrishiOx stores booking data only on your own device, you can exercise most of these rights directly using the "Clear my data" button above, your browser's own site-data settings, or by deleting the WhatsApp conversation on your phone. For any other question or request, contact us using the details in Section 11.

10. Security

This app is served over HTTPS. Text you enter in the booking form is only ever rendered back to you as plain text (not executed as code), and is never stored on a KrishiOx-operated server because none exists. Because information is saved in your browser's local storage, anyone with physical access to an unlocked device could view it — please be mindful of this if you share a phone with family members.

12. Changes to this policy

If we make a material change to this policy, the version marker at the top of this page changes, and returning users are shown the consent notice again the next time they open the app, so you always know when something has changed rather than having a silent update assumed on your behalf.

13. Governing law

This policy is governed by the laws of India.
